Synchronize an iPod, iPhone, or iPad
You can take your media and other data with you by synchronizing that data from Mac Pro to
your iPod touch, iPhone, or iPad. However, you should synchronize movies and TV shows
with care. A single half-hour TV episode may be as large as 650MB, and full-length movies
can be several gigabytes, so even a modest video collection will consume a lot of storage
space on your device.
To synchronize your device, first connect it to your Mac Pro and then click the device when it
appears in the iTunes navigation bar, to the left of the iTunes Store button.
