Create a Calendar
To gain greater control over your schedule, you can create new calendars to use for your
events. By default, the Calendar app comes with two calendars, named Work and Home.
These are fine for most needs, but there might be times when you require more specific con-
trol over how your events are stored. For example, rather than a general calendar for work,
you might prefer separate calendars for specific departments or projects. Similarly, you might
want to divide your personal schedule into separate calendars for family, friends, or travel.
Create a Calendar
Click File .
Click New Calendar .
If you are syncing your calendars with iCloud, click your iCloud account.
Note: If you are not syncing your calendars with iCloud, skip step 3 .
A You can also click Add Calendar ( ).
A new calendar appears in the Calendar list.
