Mute FaceTime
When you are conducting a FaceTime conversation, there may be times when you do not
want the other person to hear what you are saying. In a telephone conversation you can cov-
er the microphone or put the other person on hold. In a FaceTime conversation, you must
mute your audio, instead.
Muting your FaceTime audio is also useful if you are about to enter a particularly noisy area
and you do not want to subject the other person to the noise.
