Disable Read Receipts
If you are using the iMessage system for online instant messaging through your iCloud ac-
count, when you read a buddy's message, the Messages app sends that person a
read re-
ceipt
. This notification tells the other person you have read the message. If you find this to be
either an invasion of privacy or a waste of time, you can configure Messages not to send
read receipts.
Disable Read Receipts
