What if I do not have an Apple ID?
You can create a new Apple ID during the configuration process. Follow steps

and
2
to
open the iMessage dialog and then click
Create an Apple ID
. In the dialog that appears,
type your name, the e-mail address you want to use as your Apple ID, and the password
you want to use. You must also choose a secret question and specify your birthday. Click
Create Apple ID
to complete the operation.
