Share a Printer
If you have a printer connected to Mac Pro, you can share the printer with the network. This
enables other network users to send their documents to your printer. Sharing a printer saves
you money because you only have to purchase one printer for all the computers on your net-
work. Sharing a printer also saves you time because you only have to install, configure, and
maintain a single printer for everyone on your network. See the section “ Add a Shared Print-
er ” to learn how to configure Mac Pro to use a shared network printer.

Click the Apple icon ( ).
Click System Preferences .
Note: You can also click System Preferences ( ) in the Dock.
The System Preferences appear.
