Santiago de Compostela, the capital of Galicia also in Northwestern Spain, though, not a
very large city, is known as a very popular pilgrimage destination for Christians. It exhibits
a mixture of Romanesque, Gothic, and Baroque arquitecture. In this city you can appreciate
a towering landmark cathedral, the Plaza de Obradoiro, and Convent San Martiño Pinario, a
baroque Convent.
