(Greenwich Mean Time) but the UK and France sometimes
switch from/to daylight savings on different weekends,
meaning they could be on the same time, briel y, or two
hours apart.

Territory
The country is divided into 100 departements . Ninety-six
are in France proper and the island of Corsica. The four
Départments d'Outre-Mer (DOM) consist of Martinique
and Guadeloupe in the Caribbean, French Guiana in South
America, Mayotte and l'Isle de la Reunion in the Indian
Ocean, and two islands off the east coast of Canada: Saint
Pierre and Miquelon.
A group of Territoires d'Outre-Mer (TOM) are also
legally part of France, French Polynesia, French Southern
and Antarctic Territories, New Caledonia and Wallis
and Futuna Islands, as well as many small islands in the
southern oceans.
All the peoples of all these outlying posts are philosophically
and legally French citizens, if racially quite distinguishable.
