You've just seen how you can get into the Model Space view from a layout view and then
switch from a 3D view to a 2D view using the ViewCube. Let's take a look at a few more
ViewCube options as well as some other view-related tools. Try the following to see how you
can control the AutoCAD display:
1. Click the lower-left corner of the ViewCube (Figure 1.18). The view changes back to the
3D view you saw earlier. Note that you can now see the corner of the ViewCube you
clicked as the corner that intersects the left, front, and top sides of the ViewCube.

2. Click the 2D Wireframe option from the Viewport controls in the upper left of the draw-
ing area. A pop-up menu appears (Figure 1.19).
3. Select Realistic from the pop-up menu. Your view changes to show the 3D part of the
drawing with a more realistic shading (Figure 1.20).
4. Click the Realistic option in the upper left of the drawing area and select 2D Wireframe
from the pop-up menu. The drawing changes back to the view you started with.
