Notes:
These are all estimates based on data from a household budget, income or expenditure survey and are based on
the concept of an 'absolute poverty line' expressed in monetary terms. The figures for different countries are not
necessarily comparable, since different assumptions will have been made for setting the poverty line. (NB comparisons
between these countries should be avoided, as different criteria were used to set poverty lines).
