Text itself can be used to repel text. Just make sure the text that is going to push the other text
around is either on a layer on top of the repelled text or just above the text on a single layer.
Creating a Lead-in Paragraph
Because your grid has white space, you can use it to pull the
introductory paragraph from the body text and create what you
see in magazines as a lead-in paragraph. Lead-ins are frequently
of a larger point size, and the “air” between the characters helps
the layout by allowing some of the white area to serve as a
design element. Follow these steps to finesse the page layout:

With the Text Tool, highlight the first paragraph and
then press CTRL - X . Press ESC to make sure you have the
current text frame deselected.
