Desire: Peter is driven by a deep-rooted sense of guilt over his
Uncle Ben's murder, which provides his burning motivation to
protect innocents from being victimized or otherwise harmed by
evildoers. At a very fundamental level, Peter constantly desires to
atone for his past mistake. In his personal life, he would like to be
more popular, or at least more included, in social activities, but
despite his superhuman abilities he remains awkward and shy, of-
ten opting for individual, scientific pursuits over getting involved in
typical teenage extracurricular activities such as sports, parties, or
dating.
Likes: Peter likes challenging his mind, especially in the arena of
scientific research. He loves his Aunt May, and would like to be
more social and accepted but doesn't know how.
Dislikes: Peter hates bullies, criminals, and anyone who preys on
those weaker than they. He also hates “fake” people who put on a
front (despite the irony of his own dual identity).
Values: Peter values honesty and fairness, and believes that good
people deserve to have good lives. The thought of good-hearted
people like his late Uncle Ben being threatened by thugs and
criminals disgusts him and drives him to risk his own life on a reg-
ular basis to help prevent it whenever possible.
Key flaw(s): Peter is an intelligent young man with amazing
powers, but he is still a teenager and despite his upbringing in
New York City, he is not particularly street smart. His naïveté re-
