Start at the ramp nearest the elevator and wind up to the top of the double ramp. Take a
360-degree survey of the city as you hike: The big park is the Tiergarten, the “green lungs

troyed city in the late 1940s, it was famous during the Cold War as a powerful ear of the

Find the Victory Column (Siegessäule), glimmering in the middle of the park. This was
moved by Hitler in the 1930s from in front of the Reichstag to its present position in the Ti-
