From Schilthornbahn, the cable car whisks you in five thrilling minutes up to Gimmel-
wald (2/hour at :25 and :55 past the hour 5:55-19:55; after 19:55, runs only once an hour
until 23:45 Sun-Thu, until 24:55 Fri-Sat; 5.80 SF, Gimmelwald is the first stop). Note that
the Schilthornbahn cable car is closed for servicing for a week in early May and also from
mid-NovemberthroughearlyDecember.Ifyou'rehereduringthistime,you'llridethecargo
cable car directly from the valley floor up to Mürren, where a small bus shuttles you down
to Gimmelwald.
