• Lines #5.1 and #5.2 are the
circulare
(cheer-koo-LAH-ray), making a loop around
the perimeter of the island, with a stop at the Lido—perfect if you just like riding
boats. Line #5.1 goes counterclockwise (usually from the San Zaccaria-Danieli
dock), and #5.2 goes clockwise (usually from the San Zaccaria-Jolanda dock).
• The Alilaguna airport shuttle to and from the airport stops here as well (generally at
the San Zaccaria-Jolanda dock).
Large stops—such as San Marco, San Zaccaria, and Piazzale Roma—have multiple
docks, and each dock has its own name, such as San Marco-Vallaresso, San Zaccaria-Jolan-
da, and Piazzale Roma-Parisi. Helpful electronic boards at larger stops display which boats
are coming next and when, and give information for all docks at that stop. Make a point to
take advantage of these.
