Detach Surfaces
Detach Surfaces is a highly useful tool for generating specific areas of a NURBS surface,
or patches. Select an isoparm to define the line of detachment, and choose Edit NURBS
➔
Detach Surfaces. The surface is cut along that isoparm to create two distinct surfaces (see
Figure 5.19). You'll see plenty of Detach and Attach tools later in this chapter.
