Machinery storage
Most compact tractors measure 7′3″ at the top of the roll bar. Many new compacts
offer a fold-down roll bar that breaks in the center to accommodate standard garage
door heights of 7 feet. Most utility tractors measure between 8′2″ and 8′6″ to the top
of the roll bar or factory cabs. When figuring storage space, measure your tractor or
implement and add 1 to 2 feet on all sides for a buffer zone to make parking easier and
allow you to walk around the machinery.
• Lightweight garden carts are ideal for gathering and feeding hay dregs.
• For daily stall and pen cleaning, choose a medium-sized, lightweight but strong
aluminum-frame manure cart.
