Using the dipsticks, check fluid levels regularly for engine oil, power steering fluid,
and transmission oil. On 4WD tractors, check the front axle oil level according to
your manual.
Check radiator level regularly, especially in hot weather. Verify in the fall that the
antifreeze will protect the tractor to −30°F or lower if you live in a temperate cli-
mate.
Periodically check all hoses, belts, and clamps.
Perform all routine maintenance as prescribed by your owner's manual or by the
tractor manufacturer.
Grease all fittings every 50 hours or as specified in your operator's manual.
Change the engine oil and filter approximately every 150 hours or as specified in
your operator's manual.
Change transmission oil and power steering oil and filters approximately every 300
hours or as specified for your tractor. (Use the same interval for front axle oil in
4WD tractors.)
Drain and flush the radiator annually.
Regularly check the following:
Fuel filter sediment bowl—empty and clean.
