Straight-pull trailer hitches are most commonly seen on two-horse trailers.
A gooseneck hitch should be used for any trailer hauling more than three horses.
Don't assume that just because a trailer looks good it is safe. For example, a well-known
manufacturer overlooked one small detail in rear-door design that let the doors lift easily
off their hinges. When a horse leaned against the rear door, the door came off. The horse
fell out of the trailer and was dragged behind it. Get competent help when you select a trail-
er.
