studied the use of high-frequency ultrasound
(500 kHz, 25 W) for electropolymerization of
3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) or
polypyrrole in aqueous medium in order to
investigate its effects on conducting polymer
properties. They showed that (i) mass transfer
enhancement induced by sonication improves
electropolymerization and (ii) the mass transfer
effect is not the only phenomenon induced by
ultrasound during electrodeposition [94,95].
