Copy faces
tool in the
Home/Solid Editing
panel
(Fig. 18.1). The command line shows:
Command:_solidedit
[prompts]:_face
[prompts]
[prompts]:_copy
Select faces or [Undo/Remove]: pick the upper face
of the solid model 2 faces found.
Select faces or [Undo/Remove/All]: enter r right-
click
Select faces or [Undo/Remove/All]:
highlighted
face not to be copied 2 faces found, 1 removed
Select faces or [Undo/Remove/All]: right-click
Specify a base point or displacement: pick
anywhere on the highlighted face
Specify a second point of displacement: pick
a point some 50 units above the face
pick

Add lights and a material to the 3D model and its copied face and
render ( Fig. 18.10 ).
