€168-298; Feb-Nov; ) Presided over by a 16th-century stone tower and set
amid almond, olive and carob trees, this is a gorgeous country estate with a touch of the
sublime. The rooms play up rural luxury, dressed in local stone and wood, while suites
come with jetted tubs. Lazy days here revolve around the pool lined with cabana beds
and open-air whirlpool.
A cosy nook with a fireplace, an outstanding restaurant with a mountain-view terrace
and gardens fragrant with herbs, lavender and roses make this a great escape from the
coast's madding crowds.
The hotel is located just off the road to Cala Mesquida, and signposted off the main
Artà-Cala Ratjada road.
