Set back from the road
between Cala Molins and Cala Carbó, Hostal Los Pinos comprises two gleaming white
villas sitting in a pine glade. Superior doubles have partial sea views and are wonderfully
large with separate lounge areas and balconies. The smaller singles have old-style Mal-
lorcan decor. It's relaxed and peaceful, yet only a short walk from the beach.

Bellavista occupies a rambling house that has wel-
comed guests since 1931. A spiral staircase twists up to simple rooms jazzed up with
one-of-a-kind marine-life illustrations and lamps. You'll soon click into the boho groove
on the chill-out terrace and in the fig-tree-shaded garden where breakfast (€6) is served.
Resident cats, dogs and turtles add to the familiar vibe.

Going strong since 1952, this monument to the
early days of Spain's coastal-tourism boom has old-school grace and service. The rooms
are fairly standard, but well priced and those facing the sea are the best.
