food, including a superb parrillada, with five kinds of fish, shellfish and grilled veget-
ables. Otherwise the food has an international slant, along the lines of black tiger prawns
cooked in ginger served with lemon rice, and Zurich-style veal stew with crispy rösti
potatoes.

clams, grilled monkfish and crayfish rice - on the rustic-feeling glassed-in terrace by the
harbour. It's probably the most authentic of Cala Ratjada's seafood restaurants.

the terrace of this slick lounge bar, straddling as it does the waterfront promenade. It's a
prime spot for people-watching and cocktail-sipping. Inside there are comfy leather so-
fas. DJs get the crowd on their feet every night in summer.
Sa Fonda 74 BAR, CAFE

Fonda has a classy terrace overlooking the narrow end of the harbour. There's live music
(jazz, swing, soul) at 9pm on Saturdays.
