Caimari

, north of Lloseta, is known for olive oil. Visit the factory and
shop of Oli Caimari. The best time to visit is in November and December, when the oil is
made.
Binibona
A narrow lane northeast out of Caimari leads to the intriguing hamlet of Binibona. With
its back to the Serra de Tramuntana, accessible only by quiet country byways and seren-
aded by sheep and cowbells, it has become a much-sought-out spot for those in search of
tranquil but stylish rural getaways.
Campanet
Set in a beautiful stretch of little-visited countryside, among orchards and sheep-grazed
meadows, Campanet is an appealing village for tiptoeing off the map for a spell. Encrus-
ted onto a sharp ridge, the town's central square, Plaça Major, is dominated by a gaunt
Gothic church, but the surrounding cafes are busier than the ill-attended Mass.

aren't as flashy as some of Mallorca's other
cave systems, and are perhaps more authentic for it. There are guided tours every 45
minutes and visits last just under an hour. Scientists find these caves especially interest-
ing as they're home to a local species of blind, flesh-eating beetle (nice...). Find them
3km north of town.

, where dinner is an intimate affair on a poolside terrace lit by tealights. The emphas-
is is on seafood and, with its own boat in Badia d'Alcúdia, the catch couldn't be fresher.
The five-course tasting menu is a snip at €28.
