; Urbanització Costa Deià, off Carretera Sóller-Deià; tasting
menus €54-75; 1-3.30pm & 7.30-10pm Wed-Sun, 7.30-10pm Tue)
From its cliff-top perch
overlooking the sea, this restaurant's romantic terrace is pop-the-question-at-sunset stuff.
Not only that, it's the home turf of Benet Vicens, one of the island's foremost chefs. The
nouvelle Balearic-style tasting menu goes with the seasons, but might include taste sen-
sations like Sóller prawn carpaccio and fruit-filled suckling pig slow-cooked to crackling
perfection. Find Béns d'Avall 7km west of Sóller on the road to Deià.
