SAFE TRAVEL
Palma is fairly safe. The main concern is petty theft - pickpockets and bag-snatchers.
Some streets are best avoided at night, when the occasional dodgy character comes out to
play; one such area is around Plaça de Sant Antoni and the nearby avenues, such as Avin-
guda de Villalonga and Avinguda d'Alexandre Rosselló.
