chefs Abel Denhard and Mika Drouin put a fresh, herby take on Asian flavours. The fla-

wood-floored bistro keeps it sweet, simple and season-focused. The chef, from San Se-
bastián, puts his own novel twist on tapas in creations such as stuffed baby squid on
polenta, and Mallorcan white-pepper jelly and Burgos blood sausage with red pepper and
quail egg. It's this approach that won him gold at the Tapalma tapas awards in 2013.

loved breakfast and lunch spot, with its easygoing air and colouring books to amuse tots.
The menu is strong on wholesome, homemade pastries, torte, salads, pastas and tapas.

its canine moniker from the black-and-white photos of customers' pooches that hang on
its walls. Run by Swedes, this cute-as-a-button cafe is a pleasantly relaxed, boho-fla-
voured haunt for bagels, homemade cakes, fresh juices and hearty day specials such as
goulash and meatballs with lingonberries. Bear in mind that portions are on the small
side.
