HTML and CSS Reference
In-Depth Information
• you identified and decided which parts of
Monoplate can be reproduced with CSS;
• you also identified elements that can be recreated
with a mix of CSS properties and cropped images;
• you have trimmed the necessary images.
Congratulations!
This chapter showed you what to ask before you
convert a new design, see which parts needs to be
trimmed or which can be easily done with CSS.
You can crop all the necessary images straight from
this step (e.g. social icons, logo etc. ), but its purpose is
to give you the start idea and what you should ask
when you've just opened a .psd file to grasp the big
picture of it.
Now it's time to write some code.
