erally cheaper than elsewhere.
Xiyang Shi is a narrow, crowded alley running north of the Great Mosque
where terracotta warriors, Huxian farmer paintings, shadow puppets, lanterns,
tea ware, Mao memorabilia and T-shirts are on offer.
Serious shoppers should also visit the Northwest Antique Market

There's a much smaller antique market by the Temple of the Eight Immortals
on Sunday and Wednesday mornings.
