mini-tower
is smaller and has fewer drive bays, perhaps only two or three.
All computers that consist of a big rectangular box with a separate monitor and
keyboard are desktop PCs. But there is also a special style of case called a
desktop case
,
which sits on the desk with its largest side down. Figure 4.6 shows a desktop case, and
Figure 4.7 shows a full tower.
