Configure Speaker Options in Windows
1. Choose Start Control Panel Hardware And Sound Sound. The Sound dialog box
opens with the Playback tab displayed. (Another way to get to this dialog box is to
right-click the speaker icon in the notifi cation area and click Playback devices.)
2.
On the Playback tab, click Speakers/Headphones.

Click Properties. The Speakers/Headphones Properties dialog box opens.
4.
Click through each of the tabs in the dialog box to see what options are available for your
speakers.
5.
Click Cancel, and then click Cancel again to close the open dialog boxes.
6.
In the Control Panel window, under the Sound heading, click Adjust System Volume.
A Volume Mixer dialog box opens.
7.
Browse the available options for controlling the relative volumes of different types of
sounds. Close the window when you're fi nished.
