While orbiting, only the objects that have been selected before are displayed.
This can be particularly useful for checking their accuracy. When we end orbiting,
all objects reappear.
The 3DORBIT command
The 3DORBIT command (alias 3DO ), also known as Constrained Orbit , allows you
to orbit by clicking and holding down the mouse. The Z axis is always vertical. If we
precede its name or alias by a single quotation mark ( '3DO ) or if we access its icon
on the 3D Navigate toolbar, or by going to the View | Navigate panel on the ribbon,
the command can also be used transparently (in the middle of another command).
Without a wheel mouse, this is the command to be used. The shortcut menu for this
command (mouse right-click) gives direct access to several other commands and op-
tions, including additional commands for orbiting, zoom options, changing between
parallel and perspective views, and predefined views and visual styles. Some of
