The MESHSPLIT command
The
MESHSPLIT
command (alias
SPLIT
) allows dividing a mesh face in two faces.
The command prompts for a face selection and two cutting vertices on edges:
Command:
MESHSPLIT
Select a mesh face to split:

When passing over an edge, a small knife symbol is added to the cursor. The
Vertex
option limits point selection to vertices:
Specify first split point on face edge or
[Vertex]:
Point
Specify second split point on face edge or
[Vertex]:
Point
