mands, such as 3DMOVE , 3DROTATE , and 3DSCALE .
When editing commands, to avoid wrong selections, it is possible to filter which mesh
subobjects could be selected. The SUBOBJSELECTIONMODE variable filters the type
of subobjects that can be selected, which is 0 for no filter, 1 for only vertices, 2 for
only edges, and 3 for only faces.
The MESHEXTRUDE command
The MESHEXTRUDE command (no alias) allows extruding selected faces. By default,
the command prompts for faces selection and extrusion height.
Command: MESHEXTRUDE
Information about the default setting concerning extrusion of consecutive faces is
displayed:
Adjacent extruded faces set to: Join
The command prompts for the selection of faces. These must be selected one by
one:
Select mesh face(s) to extrude or [Setting]:

By default, we specify the height of extrusion:
