In-Depth Information
Note
The best way to analyze texture parameters is by trying. We change parameters
and observe the preview image. Sometimes size can be tricky, so we apply the
material and the
RENDERCROP
command (alias
RC
) to render only part of the
scene.
Exercise 11.2
We are going to apply and modify materials on the model that we used for lighting:
1. Open the drawing
A3D_11_02.DWG
. The lighting is already set up to pho-
tometric, with sunlight and skylight.
2. This model needs materials for house walls, stone, roof, terrace, floor, ter-
rain, windows, and door.
3. With
MATBROWSEROPEN
command (alias
MAT
) load the materials, such as
Cool White
(the
Wall Paint
library),
Rubble - River Rock
(the
Masonry/
Stone
library),
Spanish Tile - Red 2
(the
Roofing
library),
3in Square
- Terra Cotta
(the
Ceramic
library),
Diamond - Red
(the
Flooring
lib-
rary),
Grass - Thick
(the
Sitework
library),
Clear
(the
Glass
library), and
Mahogany - Solid Stained Dark Medium Gloss
(the
Wood
library).
4. With the
MATERIALATTACH
