A small amount of self-illumination can be applied to bright a material that looks
too dark when rendering.
The Ceramic material
The Ceramic material template allows you to create materials simulating ceramic,
porcelain, or tiles. Type specifies if it is ceramic or porcelain. Image allows selecting
the image or procedural map. Finish indicates how glossy the material between
High Gloss/Glazed , Satin , or Mate is. Finish Bumps controls the small bump
waves specific to ceramics. Relief Pattern controls relief or main bump; in Image we
choose an image similar to the main diffuse image but preferably gray-scaled, light-
er areas will seem raised, and darker areas will seem lowered. The Amount value
controls the relief importance. Tint specifies a color to tint the material as shown in
the following screenshot:
