In-Depth Information
3. With
SUNPROPERTIES
, we turn the Sun light on in
Status
. We choose
09:00
in
Time
and render again. We maintain the date
21-09-2012
.
We get shadows but the result is not very good, as they are completely
black.
4. Let's activate photometric lighting to get sky light. With the
UNITS
com-
mand, in
Lighting
we select
International
. The
Sun Properties
palette
displays the
Sky Properties
panel.
5. However, the
Status
option in the
Sky Properties
panel is
Off
and can-
not be modified. We need to set
1
as the
PERSPECTIVE
variable and
zoom out to see the model. If the mouse wheel increment is too much,
we apply the
Realtime
option after using the
ZOOM
command. When we
click on the small icon on the right of the
Sky Properties
panel now, we
finally get the
Sky Background and Illumination
option on the window
that opens.
6. Now, we are going to choose the location. Still on the
Sun Properties
palette, we pick the
Geographic Location
button and confirm
Enter the
location values
.
7. Through
Use Map
, we specify Barcelona's location and time zone (
GMT
+01:00
) and confirm the time zone modification and the geographic loc-
ation.
8. Finally, we get renders at
09h00
and
18h00
, and the quality is much bet-
ter.
