3. Applying the
RPREF
command, we try the
Draft
and
Low
modes. Instead
of applying the
RENDER
command, we may press the
Render
button to
the right of the list.
4. Now, let's try the
High
and
Presentation
modes. On the render window,
we can compare all these renders (including time), and see improve-
ments, especially on the wall and bowl.
5. Maintaining the render preset in
Presentation
, in the
Final Gather
area,
we change
Mode
to
On
and assign
5000
rays. The render improves a
little bit, but the time taken increases by more than seven times.
6. We set the
Final gather mode
option to
auto
and decrease the number
of rays to
200
. Now we turn on
Global Illumination
and render again.
We notice that darker areas get lighter because there is some light reflec-
ted off the wall. Render time decreases a lot as compared to
Final Gath-
er
with
5000
rays.
7. We save the drawing with the name
A3D_10_nal.DWG
.
