Rendering commands
In the following sections we shall see all commands that are related to rendering cal-
culations, including presets and saving the image to a file.
The RENDER command
The
RENDER
command (alias
RR
) creates a realistic image according to the 3D mod-
el, lighting, materials, effects, and all default render parameters. The render para-
meters, such as image resolution, are defined with the
RPREF
command.
When applying this command, the render starts immediately, directly on the drawing
area or on a special
Render
window, depending on the default parameters.
The
Render
window (displayed in the following screenshot) has three resizable
areas and a menu bar:
