The VIEWSTD command
There are some standards to create projected views. The
VIEWSTD
command (no
alias,
Styles and Standards
panel on the ribbon) displays a dialog box to specify
these standards. It includes the following areas:
•
Projection type
: We choose between
First angle
projection (also known
as European projection) or
Third angle
projection (also known as Amer-
ican projection).
•
Thread style
: Only for Inventor models, it allows to specify the thread
representation.
•
Shading/Preview
:
Shaded view quality
allows to control the view qual-
ity in dots per inch when choosing
Shaded
options.
Preview type
allows
specifying the representation of the preview view, between
Shaded
and
Bounding box
