In-Depth Information
Press Enter to accept the fillet or [Radius]:
Enter
The options for this command are similar to the same options of the previous com-
mand:
Chain : With this option we can click on an edge and all tangential edges
are also selected. A corner stops this selection.
Edge : This option replaces Chain and Loop if one of these modes is ac-
tivated and allows us to turn back to individual selection.
Loop : This option allows for a sequence of edges even not tangential. As
an edge is shared by two faces, it prompts to accept the highlighted face
or choose next.
Radius : We can change the default radius for all selected edges.
The FILLETRAD3D variable keeps the last used radius for this and the SURFFILLET
commands. The PREVIEWCREATIONTRANSPARENCY variable controls the preview
transparency.
Note
The FILLET command has two important advantages: it is possible to apply a
different radius within the same application, and avoiding dynamism is faster.
