The options for this command are:
• Base point : This option prompts for the base point of the move
• Copy : This option allows for copying the object along the chosen direc-
tion or plane
Compared to the MOVE command, the only advantage of this command is that it al-
lows you to apply some options on the context menu. We can align the gizmo to
a user coordinate system to a face or by three points. Then we can move or copy
along other directions than the current axes.
Scaling objects
We have the 3DSCALE command for applying a scale factor to objects or parts of
objects. Normally, we apply the SCALE command unless we need to constrain the
scale to an axis or a plane for meshes.
