The options for this command are:
•
Object
: The axis of rotation is defined by the selection of a line, an arc,
a circle, or an element of a 2D polyline. For selecting a line, the axis is
defined by the line position; for arcs and circles, the axis is defined by the
normal to its plane that passes through the center; for an element of a
polyline, the axis is defined as selecting a line or an arc, depending on
the type of element.
•
Last
: This applies the last used axis of rotation.
•
View
: The axis of rotation is defined by the viewing direction (perpendic-
ular to the screen) that passes through a point. It prompts for that point.
•
X axis
/
Y axis
/
Z axis
: The axis of rotation is defined by the X axis/Y axis/Z
axis direction of the current user's coordinate system that passes through
a point. It prompts for that point.
•
Reference
: Instead of specifying an angle's value, this option allows for
specifying a current angle and then a new angle. Any of these two angles
can be specified by two points.
