(default), an angle. It is similar to the
ROTATE
command except that it defines an axis
instead of a point.
The command starts by displaying the current values of the
ANGDIR
and
ANGBASE
variables and prompts for the object's selection. The
ANGDIR
variable states the
positive direction for measuring angles, such as counterclockwise or clockwise. The
ANGBASE
variable indicates the
0
base angle for defining absolute angles.

By default, we specify the axis of rotation with the help of two points:
