Specify height or [2Point/Axis endpoint]: Value
or point
The CYLINDER command has the following options:
3P / 2P / Ttr : These options are identical to the options of the CIRCLE com-
mand, thus allowing us to define the base circle by three points, two
points on diameter or tangent to two existing objects, and a specified ra-
dius respectively.
Elliptical : This allows us to define an elliptical base for the cylinder with
the same options of the ELLIPSE command. By default, it prompts for
two points that define the first axis and the distance of the second semi-
axis. The Center option defines the elliptical base starting from the cen-
ter.
Diameter : Instead of defining the radius of the base, this option allows us
to specify the diameter.
2Point : It allows us to define the height of the cylinder by two points.
Axis endpoint : This option allows you to specify the position of the center
of the top face. If the cylinder axis (defined by the two centers) is not par-
allel to the Z axis of the current user coordinate system, both planar faces
are rotated so that they stay perpendicular to the cylinder axis.
