5. Create a UCS aligned with the right face, again using three points.
6. Apply the
RECTANG
command to create a rectangle from
1,1
(absolute
coordinates) to
@4,1
(relative coordinates).
7. Now, activate the UCS icon and position and orient it with the top inclined
face by moving its grips. Users with versions older than 2012 should ap-
ply UCS using three points again.
8. Create a rectangle coincident with the face edges, either with
RECTANG
or
PLINE
.
9. Apply the
OFFSET
command (alias
O
) to the last object (easily selectable
by typing
L
on the command line) and specify a distance of
0.2
and mark
a point inside the object:
