Trinity College is a historic campus right in the heart of central Dublin. The campus itself is
a stunning architectural specimen, an oasis of quiet study within the noise and chaos of cent-
ral Dublin. Its central buildings all face a single central quad with only one main entrance,
which helps to create the pervasive feeling of tranquility.
Trinity College is also home to the
Long Room
, one of the most beautiful library spaces in
the world. The Long Room displays historic documents from the Irish War of Independence
alongside manuscripts from the many great authors who did their work in this city of topic
lovers.
The prize display at Trinity College, though, is the Book of Kells, an exquisite illuminated
manuscript from the 8

century AD. The topic is one of the best examples of medieval Celt-
ic art, and its interlacing designs have inspired countless imitations, from calligraphic art to
