In-Depth Information
Transfer the grapes to larger macro bins to prepare for processing.
4. Keep the picking bins free of as many leaves as possible.
5. Store the grapes for a short time out of the sun in a cool, dry place or a refrigerated
area. A few days' storage in a good, refrigerated environment can benefit the wine-
maker by preventing natural fermentation from beginning.
6. If you are selling your grapes, don't try to hide anything from the winemaker. If
you have any concerns about the harvest, it is better to have it out in the open, when
problems can still be corrected.
