BIRDLIP
Birdlip stands on the edge of the escarpment on the course of the Roman Ermin
Street (also sometimes called Ermin Way), which ran from Gloucester (Glevum) to
Cirencester (Corinium), and which is not to be confused with the similarly named
Ermine Street (or Way), which runs from London to Lincoln.
